A 7.62x54mmR semi-automatic sniper rifle, the Tsukiyomi is named after the Shinto moon goddess. Introduced in 2187 for use in the Army of the Astro Federation to replace the Type 47. The Tsukiyomi never fully replaced the Type 47 as the Great War (2201-2222) prevented it from being mass produced. Instead, the Tsukiyomi found itself issued to elite units in the Federal Army.
