Revolutionary Communist Party of Kuras-i Logo

Founded in 1946 before the independence of Kuras-i as the Kurasian Communist Party, it was the ruling party from 1949-1976. When the People's Republic of Kuras-i was overthrown by a US backed military coup in 1976, the party's members mostly went underground or were sent to Isle Sur. In 1979, frustrated with the military government the people of Isle Sur declared their independence and the new Republic of Isle Sur's National Council allowed the Revolutionary Communist Party of Kuras-i (renamed after the coup), now a paramilitary group, to participate in its elections. The RKP gained 47 out the Council's 85 seats at its height in 1985. When the Kurasian Civil War ended in 2009, the military government allowed the RKP to continue functioning as a party in exchange it be disbanded as a paramilitary group. The party currently hold 72 of the 520 seats in the National Assembly of Kuras-i. The logo features the current flag of Kuras-i, originally adding it in when the party changed its name since it was the original Independence flag before the military took power, and a simplified version of the 1963-1976 flag it used while it was in power. In the banner reads, "Workers of the World, Unite!" in the Krieg language, in the Latin, Cyrillic, and Arabic based scripts. The Krieg name of Kuras-i in the Latin script is featured on the Independence flag and the Arabic script name is on the simplified Communist era flag. The Cyrillic script name for Kuras-i is located under the party's name above the banner. The initials of the party are in the three scripts of the Krieg language above the Cyrillic name for Kuras-i and under the sickle and hammer. The party is based Marxist-Leninism which is why Marx, Engels, and Lenin are featured over the sickle and hammer in the center.
