Fashe Qi-34 Grenade Launcher

The Fāshè Qì-34 is an improvised grenade launcher. After troops from the Neo-Japanese Empire overran the Korean Province in 2034, the Chinese Federation was desperate to hold back the invading armies. After Japanese troops took Pyongyang, China began to fortify a 900 mile line named the Koryo Line. Since it wouldn’t be long before the Koryo Line would be attacked, the Manchurian Command chose to resort to flood the line with mass amounts of soldiers. As logistics couldn’t keep up with the massive influx of new soldiers, the Manchurian Command came up with a cheap and simple solution. They introduced a cheap grenade launcher that could be quickly mass produced and distributed. Introduced alongside the NCQ-34 submachine gun, the FQ-34 has a ring on it so it can be attacked to the NCQ-34. When the Japanese assault finally came in 2035, they faced fierce resistance from the Chinese defenders. While managing to inflict heavy losses on the Chinese, the Japanese were unable to break through the Line. Since then, the Koryo Line has seen countless battles and due to the vast amounts of soldiers need to man the line, the FQ-34 is still widely issued. The FQ-34 uses a 30mm grenade. Due to its small size and low recoil, the FQ-34 is a popular officers' sidearm.
