AV-97 with GP-50 Launcher

Avtomaticheskaya Vintovka means automatic rifle in Russian. Used heavily by the Russian Union, it is a 7.62x39mm assault rifle, it is the staple of the Russian war machine. It is a very simple weapon to produce, and its internal workings and tight rifling help cause the rifle's high stopping power and semi-auto accuracy, but in full auto its difficult to control the recoil. It has a high rate of fire at 1000 rpm. It is frequently seen across the Contested Fields and on the Vistula Fortress Line. Due to the vast numbers of these rifles produced, it is not uncommon for it to be issued to entire divisions outside the Russian Union, notably the German-Polish Reich and the Scandinavian Union who both face constant invasions by the Russian Union. The AV-97 can be equiped with the GP-50 Zhar-ptitsa grenade launcher.
